This week’s featured item is a large plastic lantern that was part of the Christmas decorations that could be found on utility poles at State Road Shopping Center. The lantern was originally surrounded by a green artificial wreath. (Double-click on image to enlarge for easier viewing.)

The lantern was found in a storefront prior to the demolition of the State Road Shopping Center and was given to the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society museum.How many of you remember the Christmas decorations (or doing your holiday shopping) at State Road Shopping Center?
