Hungry i 62YB

This drive-through restaurant was located on Portage Trail just west of Schiller, and was very popular with the mobile crowd in the late 50s and early 60s.   A common activity on weekend evenings was called “Buzzin the I”, which meant that you would drive through the parking area counter-clockwise very slowly to see all the cars parked there and make a complete circuit around the building before driving back out onto the street.  You could then turn right back into the i again, park and order your burger and fries.
