Mother’s Day 1918

This goes to show you are never to far away to appreciate your mother. This card was sent from Private Henry Sayers to his mother who lived on Brick Street (now Germaine). Private Sayers, raised in Cuyahoga Falls, was overseas fighting in the first World War. He was in France, laid up in a hospital when he sent this postcard.

Happy Mother’s Day!
