The stores on either side of it are all one building, referred to as the Alhambra Block built about 1903. The building behind the tree with the brickish red color that adorns the top 3/4ths of the building is the Alhambra Block, today known as the Alhambra Professional Building. The building to the left of the Alhambra was built in 1900. The two buildings to the right of the Alhambra building are also still standing today. The building with the red doors was built in 1901 and once housed Kippy’s, Cashmere Cricket and Firehouse Grill. The oldest building stands to the right of the Firehouse and was built in 1832. It once held retail businesses. Share via: More Jeri Author & Local Historian View All Posts Post navigation Previous Post Local Meat MarketsNext PostFront Street – One Way Traffic 1960s & 1970s
