About 1864, I carried my ball about 1 mile to go to Falls Rec. It was a very cold winter. The Cuyahiga was frozen. A man was on a bulldozer around the Glenn’s Bridge. While I was bowling, the man on the dozer went around or over the bridge railing! He was standing on the frozen river next to his dozer with minor injuries. How scary!
i set pins there in 1951
I miss the falls rec. Loved that place learned how to bowl there.
I set pins there in 1960

I am old, but it was 1964, nit 1864.
Bowled in youth league around 1977-1978.
My parents and grandparents did a lot of bowling and consuming liquid refreshments there.
I know there were lots of laughs –
I can almost smell the stale beer and cigarettes and hear the sounds of a bustling bowling alley.
