Discover the story of Clara Driscoll, the recently discovered artistic genius behind the famed designs of the Tiffany Glass Studios. Driscoll was born Clara Pierce Wolcott in 1861 in Tallmadge, Ohio. Linda D. Alexander, fourth cousin to Driscoll, will share the discoveries that led to identifying Driscoll as the designer of many of the firm’s iconic lampshades. They also bring to light the roll of the “Tiffany Girls” who worked under her supervision.

While it has been one hundred years since Clara last stepped foot in the Tiffany Studios, working for Louis Comfort Tiffany from 1888-1909, the local connection is exciting and the fact that she is gaining the recognition that is long overdue.
