Hello!,My name is Michelle Boyes, my husband, and I live at 1751 11th St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 with our 2 year old son. I’ve been curious to know the history of our house, such as who built it, who has lived here in the past, if there is anything interesting about it, if there are any photos of it from around the time it was first built and if there is any way to obtain the original blueprints or drawings of our house. Even though, I am not a member of the Historical Society. I noticed your question. I am an Architect and found your question interesting as I am familarir with it and would like to assist in any way i can.
chances are the builder of that house on 11th probably built multiple homes (from the same set of plans) in your area. that is in the area of grant farm tract and duncan’s woods portion of the falls. in the city-data.com website, the swearingen name pops up, but there is no sales history offered for that particular address. that is unusual and possibly someone involved with updating that website could help you. try researching the family ‘swearingen’- frank and his wife miriam lived there in the 60’s. i grew up near there (at 1733 13th street) and my friend, eric lauck grew up in the house right across the street (1746?). i think laucks still own it. you might check with mrs. lauck- if she is still with us….. good luck to you! rob calabrese, alpine, ca.
