High Bridge Glens - December 2009249 viewsOne of the great things about the High Bridge Glens Park at Front Street and Prospect Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls is that it is not only beautiful in Spring and Summer, but it is also lovely in Winter. This photograph depicts frozen icicles on the Glens' Weeping Cliffs. Photo by HighBridgeGlensFan.149 comments

James Block/Building246 viewsThis is one-half of a stereoview image of the James Block on Front Street in Cuyahoga Falls, near Portage Trail. I believe this photograph was produced circa 1870s/1880s. As you can see, the building housed a dry goods store. It was also the location of Henry Plum's boot store.149 comments

231 views On a Sunday afternoon, a favorite spot for residents of Cuyahoga Falls, and many visitors too, was the Glens. Many hiked and walked over the picturesque gorge created in the ice age by the glacier. The huge overhanging rock could be seen clearly from the Suspension Bridge. This area is no longer able to be seen because it is under water due to the Ohio Edison Dam. 149 comments

Portage Trail at Night from the Bridge229 viewsThis was a photo I took after working at the Falls Camera Shop. At the time, Acufine had a film developer that boasted an ISO 3200 rating for Tri-X film, normally ISO 400, which is what I used for this photo. Barry Scholles

Downtown Cuyahoga Falls in the early '60s226 viewsThis is a photo I took of downtown Cuyahoga Falls on my way to work at Falls Camera Shop on a Saturday morning in the early '60s. The downtown street was now one way, as was 2nd St. going in the opposite direction.
