HBG Entrance208 views the entrance to High Bridge Glens Amusement Park in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. High Bridge Glens Park operated from the late 1870s until 1912, when construction of the Northern Ohio Traction and Light dam flooded the scenery. The park featured a dining room, dance hall pavilion, and a roller coaster. Paths along the rocky cliffs led to Fern Cave, Mirror Lake, a suspension bridge across the Cuyahoga River, and toy houses and bridges for children. It was a popular destination for residents of northeast Ohio, who traveled by interurban railroad to Cuyahoga Falls. 149 comments

231 views On a Sunday afternoon, a favorite spot for residents of Cuyahoga Falls, and many visitors too, was the Glens. Many hiked and walked over the picturesque gorge created in the ice age by the glacier. The huge overhanging rock could be seen clearly from the Suspension Bridge. This area is no longer able to be seen because it is under water due to the Ohio Edison Dam. 149 comments
